There are some reports about the disappearance of Kana Dynamic IP Updater’s tray icon when running it as service. After further investigation, it was caused by an error occurred on the program so that the service was terminated. The problem affects Kana Dynamic IP Updater 3.1.0.7, and probably 3.1.0.6.

While we are fixing this problem, as a temporary workaround, you can do the steps as explained in this article.

The problem probably caused by the nature of running desktop application as service. A native Windows service version is currently under development.
