Kana Reminder
How to set how long the calendar window is displayed?
Question:
How to set how long the calendar window is displayed?
Answer:
The calendar window will not be closed if your mouse pointer is above the window, or above Kana Reminder tray icon. When you move the mouse pointer away from the window, by default the calendar window will be closed within about 10 seconds. To change this time, use the steps explained below.
The followings are the steps to change the time the calendar window will be displayed:
- Open data and setting file folder by using the Open Data Folder menu from system tray menu.
- Locate the setting file. Default name of the file is Reminder.ini. Open this file by using Notepad.
- Locate HideCalendarDelay=x line on this file. The x is a number between 0 and 59.
- If you find this line, change the number by using a number between 0 and 59. This number represent the time the calendar window displayed in seconds.
- If you cannot find this line, add HideCalendarDelay=x line directly below [Options] line.
- Save and close the file.
Example:
The following setting will set the display time into 3 s.
[Options] HideCalendarDelay=3
