Kana Dynamic IP Updater

Cannot Detect IP Address

Question:

Kana Dynamic IP Updater cannot detect my internet IP address correctly.

Answer:

A computer usually has more then one IP address, and Kana Dynamic IP Updater needs to decide which one is your internet IP address. To do this, first Kana Dynamic IP Updater detects all IP addresses available on your computer, then from those IPs, discards the IPs which match the IPs on your Local IP Address box. So, Kana Dynamic IP Updater relies on your local IP list to find the internet IP.

To detect internet IP correctly, you need to add all IPs, EXCEPT your internet IP if detected, into Local IP Address box. Those IPs should be detected automatically by Kana Dynamic IP Updater. If you have dynamic local IP (the one assigned by DHCP server), you can add those IPs as a range.
