I am using cable modem to connect to the internet, so I set Kana Dynamic IP Updater to use LAN in connection setting. I also setup the dialer, and tell Kana Dynamic IP Updater to dial if no connection is available. But when my cable modem is disconnected, the dialer does not work. What is the problem?

Dialer only works if you select to use modem as connection to the internet. Kana Dynamic IP Updater uses internal method to detect the connection, and it only works when modem is selected. Although it is possible to use PING to detect connection, so it will work with LAN or Proxy, that method is not implemented.
